Tuesday Photo Challenge: Slope, November 12, 2019

Bonny meandered up the slight slope in order to graze privately.

GarGar gazed dreamily at the miniature portrait of Princess Pirouette in a vain attempt to tune out the voice of his tutor.

“Your Excellency,” he droned. “It’s never too soon to learn how to deal with the opposite sex appropriately. While there’s nothing wrong with giving a few trifles to your betrothed, it’s a slippery slope. Is it true that you gave her your mother’s diamond collar?”

GarGar, le comte de deux chats did his best to stifle a yawn. “I’m not sure that’s any of your business, my good man,” he finally responded.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.
