I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.

What a happy fellow! I think he looks like he’s basking in the sun. Just working on his tan. Love it.
sleeping or ……
All relaxed, waiting for a belly rub..
An El Niño storm washed him ashore. Thank God he didn’t drown! Poor thing. They put up a sign that said if you touched him or bothered him it was a thousand dollar plus fine! I’m glad they didn’t get mad at me for photographing him.
I love this picture! I am counting the days myself until it is beach time!
Thanks, Margaret! This picture is from the late 1990’s. So long ago. Ha!
