I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.

Lovely shot of the kitty using its kitty-pillow Cee! Thanks for joining us this week.
This is Russell! LOL 🙂
Oops, sorry Russell!
The textures of the cats’ fur really come through here, as well as the patterns in the fur. Very nice! You have 3 cats? I didn’t realize that. I’m intrigued by the name of Compromise Street. Interesting! Thanks for joining us, Russell!
We have four cats. Nigel, who is all black, is very shy. He knows that the camera is liable to flash, and he absolutely hates that. Whenever he sees me deploy the camera, he heads for the hills! I do have some photos of him though. I posted an entire collage of Nigel several months ago under the title, “Family Portraits.”
More cats – cannot get enough of them! Love the queue on the bridge as well – it looks so Swedish…
Ha! That’s cool! Thank you! 🙂
Nice. The cat’s meow!
Thank you! I’m always mystified when somebody tells me that they don’t like cats. What’s not to like? They’re awesome!
Love the kitty captures.
Thank you! I’m very proud of my fur babies. They are my sweet pride and joy!
Such gorgeous kitties! Cats are so photogenic, and I love seeing them all. 🙂
Thank you so much. These kittens are my sweet pride and joy! 🙂
