I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.

Ohhh! This is lovely! 🙂
Thank you. I really love butterflies. They seem to like me too. Ha!
You’re fortunate to see them and they like you too! Double bonus! Rare for me to see them in the city but I do glimpse them in our north.
Butterflies are amazingly hardy creatures. Some have been known to migrate hundreds and hundreds of miles across North America to Central America.
Yes they are!
Love your butterfly shots! 😊
Thank you so, Irene! I really appreciate the positive feedback. 🙂
Great post 😊
Thank you very much! I love butterflies. I can’t wait for Spring to come around again. 😦
