
As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, one might be tempted to call this little fellow a moth, due to the rather unspectacular colors of its wings; however, it is clearly identifiable as a butterfly. This is because of the shape of its antenna. Moths have short, feathery antenna, while the butterfly’s is blessed with long, thin ones with a little bulb at the end- similar to the old-fashioned aerial on an automobile.
