Yellow: Photo for the Week 50 (PFTW)

Yellow 7 daisy

Butterfly Superstar 91Blossom 3

Two flowers and a butterfly. Not bad, but I’m sure I can do more! I just did a yellow challenge a few days ago, but none of these photos appeared in that one. As you may have guessed, yellow is just about one of my most favorite colors.

Butterfly 8

Another butterfly! This one seems to have a bit of green, but I think that may be the result of the light of the leaves bouncing against its yellow wings. This was one of those super fluttery ones, just like those little white ones that never seem to rest. Ever.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.
