King GarGar gave his steed a touch of the spur and it immediately picked up its pace. He looked over his shoulder to see if the twins (GarGar deux and twin sister Dégagé) were keeping pace. “Hurry up, children! Your mother is waiting!” He shouted at them. As they were on smaller mounts, it was hard for them to keep up with their father, but that didn’t stop them from trying. Nothing was so important to either child as their parents’ approval. The entire royal family was taking a brief vacation at their hunting lodge, Château des souris mortes. While the two older children, sisters Gargella and Pirouette la Jeune spent time with their mother, the two younger children (the twins) were with their father. The Queen with her two elder daughters made a pretty picture as they rode to the hounds together in matching riding habits. Their hair in a shambles. Their cheeks flushed from the excitement and rigors of the hunt.
