Dear American Male- How are you? Guess what! Dogs do smile back at you. They learn this behavior from their human companions. Another interesting fact about human/animal interaction. Feral cats, for the most part, do not meow. Domesticated cats, on the other hand, can develop well over a hundred utterances. Domesticated dogs exhibit, at best, about a dozen. LOL
