I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.
Love the soft colors in the third photo.
Thank you so much! I love trees, so this challenge is a particular pleasure for me to participate in. All the best, Russell
Such beautiful shots, Russell. The one from the park is my favorite. Feels like a lovely place to go for a walk.

Thank you for joining Thursday Tree Love. Welcome!
It is indeed. It’s just one block down from my house. The street that I live on is very quiet because it is not an open road. Both ends of are block are T-intersections. 🙂
The top photo is both fascinating and beautiful in its detail. It reminds me of rosemary.
Thank you so much! You are very kind. 🙂
