Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Candid, October 15, 2019

Selfie 1This self-portrait is my contribution to Lens-Artists’ Photo Challenge # 67: Candid.

Here are a couple of shots that I took a few days ago. These are just random people that I photographed one morning. The couple on the left report that they work at the U.S. Naval Academy. The lady on the right with the two dogs wasn’t so friendly. I just hope that her day got better!

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.

  1. A candid self-portrait – how did you manage that? ;-D Interesting. And I do hope the lady’s day got better later on… My experience usually says people with dogs are extremely friendly!
