Beauty is everywhere waiting to be captured
Forgive me for indulging in selfies. I had a friend tell me once, “I’m going to buy you a great big mirror!” This was because of my penchant for long gazes at myself emanating from any shiny surface. And I have another!
I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar. View more posts
Ha! We are polar opposites! I posted a picture once and realized I had captured my reflection and quickly took it down. I do not like being in the photo at all! You do look good in that hat, though. 🤠
Well, they say every photograph is a reflection of the photographer and that we all put a little of ourselves into each photo. Thank you for doing it so overtly 😉
