Beauty is everywhere waiting to be captured
I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar. View more posts
Such a fun soft color. Wonderful photos 😀
Thanks, Cee! 😺
I love the lavender.
Thank you! I don’t often see crepe myrtle this color. It’s usually bright red or white. 😺
We had both colors, but no lavender in our yard in CA.
I lived in LA for many, many years. It’s a gardeners paradise. Best wishes! Russell 😺
Yes, it is, and the freeway driver’s!! 🤪🤪🤪
One thing about the freeways in LA. They never completely stopped. They were good at keeping people moving. Only people from LA know what a Sig Alert is. Ha!
I’m not from LA, so that’s a new one. My hubby grew up in Burbank. I went there a lot when I worked for Tulare County Office of Education because of state meetings. Nobody wanted to come to Visalia because the airport was almost non-existent. I drove everywhere because I was right in the middle of the state. 🙂 Sig alerts everywhere!
