Ragtag Daily Prompt: Question

“By no means will I ever let you board a ship to sea again,” said Princess Pirouette to GarGar le comte des Deux Chats. “Never ever.”

GarGar laughed. “But a river barge is acceptable?”

Pirouette rolled her eyes. “Why do you always have to answer back with a question?”

GarGar kissed Pirouette’s hand, and then her lips. “I promise that I will obey you in all things, my Queen.”

“Ha! I’m not Queen yet!”

“You will be soon. The old King is sinking, sinking fast.”

“We must pray for him,” said the Princess gravely.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.
