Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #159: Postcards

I’ve resized all of these photos so that they are now 5 by 7 inches- the perfect size for a postcard. I respectfully submit them to Guest Host Anvica’s Gallery for the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #159: Postcards.

We will not discuss the outrage of January 6, 2021 here. To the right is the botanical garden- a truly magnificent place!
I guess the sky could have been a little more blue, but this is an angle of the Maryland State House that one doesn’t usually see.
Sunrise on the Chesapeake Bay. It the far distance, you can see the Bay Bridge- a great feat in engineering!

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.

  1. The Bay Bridge freaks me out every time I cross it. We actually stopped one time to see the history and read about the bridge. And incredible feat of engineering!! Absolutely loved the image with the paddle boarder Russell .
