Beauty is everywhere waiting to be captured
I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar. View more posts
Oh Russell, I really like your photos for this week. Thanks for playing along π
Absolutely. Your challenges are always tremendous fun! π
Great photos! I love the bee ππππ
Thanks, Lisa! I love to photograph insects. πΊ
I do too! On flowers or leaves. Not in my houseπ Now that more flowers are blooming I hope to find more!
I’ve managed to capture some pretty cool images of the common housefly. I know. Yuck! π€
I have actually snagged a few cool photos of flies too! They showed up on our cactus out front as flowers started to bloom. I think often it’s the location that makes them cool or icky. Outside ok, inside not so much!
That little boy with a branch is so cute! Very creative selections!
Thank you! I was very fortunate that the little fellow’s parents let me photograph him. He was very cooperative. π
