Bright Squares: April 13, 2021

Here’s my contribution for today’s Bright Squares Challenge hosted by Becky B of Life of B.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.

      1. Yes, it can be challenging, but I can’t very well expect others to look at my work if I don’t take the time to look at theirs. It’s definitely a two-way street. ๐Ÿ˜บ

      2. Yes it is. I still wished I had more time. When I started blogging more last April, I had just got laid off from my job of 11 1/2 years. By May, I panicked and decided to open an Etsy shop. Now I’m pretty busy with it and the time I enjoy looking at everyone’s blogs is gone. Plus I only had a couple hundred followers then. I’ve gotten to know some wonderful humans and I’m now missing that time. I still have to earn a living because I wasn’t ready to retire. ๐Ÿ™‚
