Since I know them so intimately, I can tell the difference right off the bat. I’ll ask you to notice that Garçon’s head is rounder than his sister’s. I find Pirouette’s bone structure to be more refined than her brother’s. It’s hard to tell from this photo, but Garçon is measurably larger than Pirouette. I’d say he has at least one pound over her. That may not sound like much in human terms, but for cats, it’s a big difference.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar. View more posts

The slider has two fantastic shots. Thanks so much for playing, great photos 😀
Thanks, Cee! With the cats, I was trying to illustrate my belief that while men and women are different, we have more in common than otherwise. 😺
Well Pirouette has her eye liner completely around both her eyes GarGar has his eye patch!
That’s just what Harry says. Ha! 😺
