April Bright Squares

In keeping with the theme of lights or lamps for today’s April Bright Squares photo challenge, hosted by Becky B of Life of B.

I know that the skies were a bit cloudy on the day I photographed this giant electrical cord and outlet; however, in keeping with the spirit of Becky’s giant lamp, I’m posting it. This photo was taken on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave earlier in the current century. I did a bit of cropping and resizing to make sure that it was a perfect square. I estimate that this photo was taken in 2009, before I started my blog, Beautiful Photographs.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.
