IdahoBlueBird50 AOTD Challenge: October 16, 2019

Squirrel 2 brilliantSquirrel 3 greedyJoining in on the fun with squirrels, I submit these two photos to IdahoBlueBird50’s Animal of the Day Challenge (a.k.a. AOTD). I think the second photograph especially seems to convey a sense of menace and violence, even if he’s only eating a peanut. I wouldn’t want to be the one to get between him and that peanut. Wishing all a great Autumn season!

Russell Smith

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.
