“You will do as you’re told and that’s the end of it!” Shouted Queen Pirouette at her daughter of the same name, la jeune princesse.
The younger Pirouette was so overcome with emotion that she covered her face with her hands. “Oh, mother!” She cried. “Have pity on me! I just can’t marry him! I’d rather be a nun. I really think I may have a vocation.” She sniffed back her tears.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.

It’s funny…I read blogs all the time and as I follow more people and more people follow me, there are more and more to get to. Today when I clicked on yours and saw that it was a story about either King Gar Gar or Queen Pirouette I literally said “Ooh, good!” like a little kid finding a favorite story! Lol.
I’m glad you enjoy the stories! Thank you!
Will she escape or won’t she? Stay tuned for more of Princess Pirouette’s tail-lashing dilemma. 🙂
Very exciting!
