GarGar is very protective of his sister Pirouette.Maxwell enjoys being the grand old man of the house. Friday Fun Challenge: Furry
This is a statue in downtown Annapolis. Behind the statue is the State House. The subject is DeKalb, a major general in the American Revolution, killed at the Battle of Camden. Please accept this as my submission to this week’s Saturday Sculpture, hosted by Chasing Memory.
Queen Pirouette watched her two youngest children playing in the courtyard. Twins, a boy and a girl, they both wielded imaginary swords made of little branches. Although they were a bit small for their age (eight years) they burst with energy. Nothing could have pleased Her Majesty more than the sight of her babies running, jumping, laughing and shouting. If one were to gauge her perception as a mother, they’d find that the twins encompassed everything near perfection in this life.
