Beauty is everywhere waiting to be captured
I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar. View more posts
Great shots but I was partial the the butterfly above the flowers.
Thank you very much! Making a good capture with a creature in flight is more about luck than skill! Ha! 😉
What lovely photos you have taken for nature 😀
Thanks, Cee! Most were from the archives. I’m just not as active as I was before my father-in-law died. That was almost a year ago, October 8, 2021 to be exact. When the days get shorter and colder, I also tend to go into hibernation as well. Thanks for the positive feedback!
Sorry to hear about your father-in-laws death. Grieving can take many forms my friend. Be gentle on yourself. 😀
Thanks, Cee! It’s been a very difficult adjustment. Almost my entire life revolved around caring for him. Sometimes I feel like I’ve been set adrift on stormy seas.
