This is my entry for today’s Water Water Everywhere Challenge. In the original shot, the sky was a dreary and dull grey. I decided to do a quick copy-and-paste job. If you look into the tree line where it meets the sky, you can see what the original color was. I’m sure you will forgive me for this editorializing. Have a great week, everybody!Opening of the bridge at the Ridgely Avenue over Weems Creek, Annapolis, Maryland.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar.

Thank you, China. As I admire your work very much, and what you do to support others, I am very appreciative of your kind words. All the best!

Thank you, Miss China! Did you know that Grace Slick, the lead singer of Jefferson Airplane (later Jefferson Starship) named her daughter China?
