  • Dear Lord, look upon me like the Good Thief. And I should be so lucky, full of Peace. Amen.

  • Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning, now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

  • Hail Mary, full of grace, blessed art thou among women, blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I can’t help but marvel at the sheer volume of sound that one of these little creatures is capable of emitting. With the approximate surface area of my thumbnails, it releases the call of a bullhorn. Just imagine if it were the size of my thumb! Truly mind-boggling.

This is the roses natural color. I did nothing to enhance it. I think it’s glorious. I wish I could take credit for growing it, but alas! Thank you to Sue for allowing me to photograph it.
