The difference in markings between these two cats is subtle. Garçon, bottom photo, has more white and has an asymmetrical face. Maxwell, top photo, is older, so this makes it easier to tell them apart. At first Max was quite upset to have Garçon and his sister Pirouette move in, but now he is madly in love with both of them. I can’t help but attribute this to the similarities in appearance that they all share. Nigel, who is solid black, is now the odd man out.MaxwellGarçonNigel
I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, and Nigel.
