Nativity Pageant - Heritage Baptist Church

Everybody was welcoming and friendly- a great beginning for Christmastime! God bless all worshipers at Heritage Baptist Church.

We appeared to be one short of three wise men.
Happy shepherds.

We appeared to be one short of three wise men. The shepherds were all smiles! All of the painted backgrounds contained instructive narrative behind little doors that the kids could open and read. Can you see the two little doors on the photo at lower right (above)?

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. Matthew 2:13.

Blessed Saint Joseph, I consecrate myself to thy honor, and give myself to thee that thou may always be my father, my protector and my guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me great purity of heart and a fervent love for the interior life. After thy example, may I perform my actions for the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Pray for me, Saint Joseph, that I may experience the peace and joy of thy holy death. Amen.
