Although it appears greenish in color, this butterfly is actually white. The reflections of all the greenery around it is what makes it appear so. It makes me wonder if it is even really white, but like the baby seals in the Arctic, actually clear. These photos were taken on September 1 of this year.

This is my contribution to Cee’s Flower of the Day challenge for November 28, 2019. This photograph was taken in the first week of August of this year.
