Ragtag Daily Prompt: Stellar

Max 1 cMonica put down the bags of groceries with a grunt of exhaustion. Too many cans and frozen items, nodded Maxwell sagaciously.

“Thank you for that thoughtful insight, Max!” Monica snapped at him. “I’ve about had it up to hear with you and your…” She paused to think of the right word. “Er… Your observations. That it! Your catty observations .” Her arm waved vaguely at the brown paper bags on her new table from Sears.

Your abilities as a witch have grown to stellar proportions. Everybody in Hell is talking about it. Maxwell allowed the hint of a smile to cross his face. And I mean everybody!

Sunshine’s Macro Monday #22

Zinnia purpleNot bad for Sunshine’s Macro Monday challenge. Since this is my first contribution, I think I should try to submit something that will really wow them!

MossThis is something that I might not feel is quite suitable for some challenges, but it’s found a good home here. This is simply green moss from the floor of the forest. Up close, it looks a lot like an other-worldly forest. And now for something really special…

Ragtag Daily Prompt: Pastel

GarGar 1King GarGar the Beloved looked at his wife, Queen Pirouette with a benign smile on his lips. The words he spoke next were soft, but they conveyed great passion.

“I’ve loved you since I first set eyes upon you. I bless the day you were born. I bless the day we were. With you by my side, every day is a blessing!” His eyes glistened with tears.

Smiling back at GarGar, Pirouette lifted a hand to wipe his furrowed brow. As sleeves were very wide at the cuff, according to the fashion of the time, the pastel fabric of her dress rolled down her arm, revealing fingers and wrist bathed in jewels.

Hydrangea 1aDesperate to meet fully the criteria for this Prompt, I post the above photograph of some seriously pastel blossoms.
