Here is my contribution to Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Geometry.

The Maryland Statehouse is a stunning masterpiece of interior and…

…architectural design.

There’s an overload of geometrical shapes in the images above- lots of rectangles with a few perfect squares thrown in, and some lovely straight, A to B lines. In fact, if you look closely at near center, you will see a jet engine trail, again A to B!
Hi, Russell. Great choices for the challenge. I especially love the perspective in your first shot. It really highlights the shape of the building. It’s a great contrast against the sky. Glad you joined us!
Thanks! I love to participate in the Lens-Artists challenges! 😃
Your opening image is one of the best examples I’ve seen this week Russell, perfect geometry!
Thanks, Tina! I’d just snapped that one a day or two before the challenge. Crazy, yes?
A very special opener this week! Perfect choices all.
Thank you! There’s another geometric challenge open now. I love it! 😃
Lot’s of shapes! And a ‘widow’s walk’, perhaps.
Indeed! Thank you for taking the time to look! 😃
All are beautifully captured. The first image is stunning!
Thank you, Amy! 🙏
