Another door with a message at Saint John’s College, Annapolis, Maryland.
Here we have a nice red door in keeping with Sheree’s theme for this week, Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church in Annapolis, Maryland.
“Poison!” Exclaimed Princess Pirouette. “Why would anyone wish to poison His Majesty?”
“Sh! Your Highness, please keep your voice down!”
“Why should I? There’s nobody here in the chapel but us.”
“You never know who might be listening, Your Highness.”
“It’s easily done, Your Highness. From the kitchen to the table, the King’s food passes through many hands. Just a quick flick of the wrist, when nobody’s paying any attention and the junk lands into his plate.” The prime minister gave a quick demonstration with his hand. “Nobody is the wiser.” He gave Pirouette a knowing wink. “It’s been done before.”
