Debbie’s One Word Sunday Challenge: Point

Debbie Smyth of Travel with Intent has challenged us with the prompt: point. Here’s my take.

Double Candles, sculpture by Sterling Ruby, 1972, Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden, Washington DC

One Word Sunday Challenge: Spring

Here is my entry for Debbie Smyth’s Travel With Intent blog, One Word Sunday Challenge. This week her topic is Spring.

Rather than green, to me yellow is the color of Spring (with a little pink thrown in).

Let’s take a closer look at some daffodils, shall we?

The other day, for her Flower of the Day challenge, Cee Neuner posted the back of some daffodils. I thought it looked great. Imitation is the highest form of flattery!

Now here’s some of that pink I promised you!

Even though today was a bit dreary, the birds are coming in droves to herald Springtime! If you look closely, you can a big flock on the ground in front of the yellow house.

Travel With Intent: Empty

Here are my entries to Travel with Intent’s photo challenge, Empty.

Empty field. Who wants to play in this weather?
The street where I live is quite empty except for a few parked cars and a trash bin here and there.
The mail hasn’t arrived yet.
Nothing to eat at the grocery store.
An empty mug that I swiped from Denny’s. It needs to be washed.
An empty cat food bowl that needs to be washed.
An empty bench in the front yard. Have a seat. Make yourself comfortable.
