As the mother of her people, few things made Queen Pirouette more happy than a successful harvest. Every year of her reign had seen bumper crops. At this point, the storehouses were bursting with grain. The Kingdom could afford several bad harvests in a row at this point, and nobody would go hungry. Winds, rain and sunshine all came in appropriate amounts and at the appropriate times to guarantee agricultural bounty. This was but one of many reasons that Queen Pirouette considered her reign a mandate from heaven.
