With his clenched fist held high, King GarGar held his army in check. Like all great war heroes, he fought in the vanguard, swinging his longsword this way and that, riding tall in the saddle. There was something transcendent about the King. His armor seemed to shine more brightly than anybody else. His blows of the sword seemed heavier than anyone. He had a keen eye for picking a good battle site. With his courage and infectious enthusiasm, he inspired his men to feats of great bravery and strength.
