This is a tough one. I simply must share these selfies of me with Pirouette.
Pirouette can leap onto my shoulder from substantial distances at this point and she never scratches me, not even a little! She’s an amazing girl. Any shopping done at my home will of course involve Pirouette. Thank you, Cee for another interesting challenge!
I just thought this particular orchid was so stunning that I should post it for its own value, rather than in response to a prompt. Not that there’s anything wrong with participating in a challenge or prompt! Far from it! I say. It’s just that this orchid spoke to me. Only another flower person will understand what I’m saying or where I’m coming from. Please just indulge me and enjoy this gorgeous orchid!
Although Queen Pirouette loved her husband dearly, it still irritated her somewhat that she had no say whatsoever in who she would marry or even when she would marry. All of this was decided by the King, her distant relative and his Privy Council, strangers all. Because of this, it was her decided opinion that when it came time for her daughters to marry, she and her husband would be flexible and allow the girls a power of veto for any perspective bridegroom.
Cee has a new challenge. Based on a picture that she will post once a week, contributors pick a topic based on the picture. It’s pretty broadly based and therefore, fairly inclusive. Here is my submission. I hope I get to be the first to jump in on this one!
Because a bridge was featured so prominently in Cee’s picture, I decided to make that the focus of my submission. I hope it’s appropriate. I hope I haven’t jumped the gun on this
challenge!
