Fragment of a letter from the Caninian ambassador to his king regarding Queen Pirouette:

Her Majesty is possessed of remarkable beauty and poise. Never have I seen a woman more fashioned by God to near perfection. Her complexion is without blemish and is an honest example of “peaches and cream.” When she moves about the Palace, she seems to float, so graceful is she. Enthroned, her regal bearing induces one to obeisance without any qualm. Indeed her beauty is heaven sent, delicate, refined like an angel.Upon receipt of this letter, the King of Caninia recalled his ambassador from the Court of King GarGar and Queen Pirouette.
