CMMC – April Color – Light or Neon Green

Here is my weigh-in on Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge – April Color – Light or Neon Green

I’m not exactly sure what the name of this green may be, but I couldn’t resist the furry leaves.
This parsley look quite pale to me.
I don’t know what this is, but it reminds me of sea anemones

April Bright Squares

In keeping with the theme of lights or lamps for today’s April Bright Squares photo challenge, hosted by Becky B of Life of B.

I know that the skies were a bit cloudy on the day I photographed this giant electrical cord and outlet; however, in keeping with the spirit of Becky’s giant lamp, I’m posting it. This photo was taken on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave earlier in the current century. I did a bit of cropping and resizing to make sure that it was a perfect square. I estimate that this photo was taken in 2009, before I started my blog, Beautiful Photographs.

Ragtag Daily Prompt: Insect

“Ouch!” Cried Princess Pirouette. “I’ve been stung!”

“Let me take a look,” said GarGar, le comte des Deux Chats, reaching for Pirouette’s hand. “Let’s pull back your glove and see what kind of damage has been done.” Pirouette whimpered quietly as GarGar peeled the fine chamois fabric away. “It must have had a long stinger to get through this cloth,” he observed. And there it was, an angry red welt on the back of Pirouette’s hand. GarGar gave it a gentle kiss. “Feel better?”

“Oh, much better, kind sir,” replied Pirouette. “I’m afraid you may have missed your calling, Monsieur GarGar,” continued the Princess. “You would have made a fine chirurgeon.”

“Specializing in insect bites, no doubt.” GarGar laughed.
