Macros of lilies
These somewhat bruised and battered lilies are my contribution to Cee’s Flower of the Day challenge. When you see from whence they come, you will understand why they’ve been jostled about in less than nurturing environs.
From a distance, it’s a beautiful riot of colors, but upon closer inspection, it brings to my mind something akin to the high-density cattle lots that I saw in Northern Texas. The comparison is oblique, I admit, but if you love flowers, then it’s quite apt.
