Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Public Transportation
This photograph is from the deep archives. It is one of my favorites. I took it in 1987 in Washington, D.C. It occurred on 12th Street, NW just below Belmont. It was in early Spring, and it happened to be an unseasonably warm. This drove me outside with a disposable camera. This is my submission to Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Public Transportation. Thanks, Cee!

Ragtag Daily Prompt: Looking Out My Back Door
This is the view from my back door. I am submitting this as my contribution for today’s Ragtag Daily Prompt- Looking Out My Back Door It looks rather humdrum, doesn’t it?
Upon closer inspection, look who we have here!

Cee’s On the Hunt for Joy Challenge #3: Jump for Joy
For my fortieth birthday (many years ago) I treated myself to a short vacation on the island of Maui. While I would hardly characterize turning forty years of age a cause celabre, I still managed to have a good time. These exciting shots were taken on the Road to Hana. It’s a terrifying stretch of road, but it’s worth the grey hairs. How often do you get to jump off of a waterfall into a beautiful lagoon?
There’s a book called Maui Revealed. It’s updated annually. Available on Amazon, it’s a must-read if you are planning a vacation in Maui. This is my submission to Cee’s newest challenge: On the Hunt for Joy.
