This is the mighty Chesapeake Bay, submitted for Jez Braithwaite’s Water Water Everywhere Challenge. More than 150 major rivers and streams flow into the Bay’s 64,299-square-mile drainage basin, which covers parts of six states (New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and West Virginia. It is 200 miles long from its headwaters in the Susquehanna River to its outlet to the Atlantic. The average depth is 21 feet with a maximum depth of 174 feet

Maxwell couldn’t help but sneer, when Monica Snapjaw cried, “Oh, Max! Why do you always have to be such a Scrooge?”
“How can I even call myself a cat, if I don’t do my best to break every Christmas ornament on that tree?” He replied. His tongue dripped acid, “And don’t forget the tinsel… I have to eat every single strand and then promptly vomit same on the couch, carpet, or best of all, the supper table!”
