Jez’s WWE Challenge: December 8, 2019

This is my latest entry for Jez Braithwaite’s Water Water Everywhere challenge. This is one of my favorite views of College Creek here in Annapolis. The bridge in this photograph is far too small to be the Chesapeake Bay bridge. Rather, it is the aptly named College Creek bridge. I took this on December 1, 2019. I challenge anybody to guess where I was standing when I took it!

Ragtag Daily Prompt: Charitable

Pirouette 1Beloved by her people for so many reasons, Queen Pirouette quietly engaged in many charitable endeavors including the foundation of hospitals for the indigent and homes for unwed mothers.  When visiting the shrine for King GarGar’s patron saint, Blessed GarGar of Locustia, she left a gold ingot on the altar. Little did the people know that their queen indulged in these activities as a way of expiating her personal guilt over matters relating to her marriage.

Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen
