With the military and the peers behind the King, and the people and the church behind the Queen, together they made an unstoppable force. Should they ever be at odds, or even just cross purposes, chaos would ensue. Shops would not open. Church pews would be vacant. Nobody understood this more than King GarGar and Queen Pirouette themselves. Because of this, from the very first day of their marriage, they promised always to be open and honest with one another, and to share counsel with nobody but each other.

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Maxwell, Nigel, Pirouette and GarGar. View more posts
