I came across this beauty today just when I’d decided to pitch it and come home. As I was walking the trail back to the house, he was fluttering about a field, seeking only yellow blossoms. I feel a spiritual connection with these creatures and after a shot like this one, I can’t help but feel like the good Lord put it in my path.

Ragtag Daily Prompt: Froth

King GarGar was in rare form that night. Drinking until sunrise with his cronies, comrades from the campaigns, the King enjoyed crashing his tankard of beer against another’s and then shouting, “Cheers!” He also loved blowing the froth into others’ faces. His boisterous laughter was infectious, and before the night was out, more than one reveler found himself passed out on the floor. Queen Pirouette looked at her husband’s hijinks with indulgence. She understood that it was his way of dealing with the pressures of office. Sometimes, she liked to imbibe a glass or two of wine on special occasions.
