Welcome! I shall be taking my role as a contributor to this challenge very seriously. I am honored that I am able to participate in it from its inception. Thank you, Cee for creating yet another wonderful venue for everybody to showcase their talent.
The reason I chose to post the American flag was because it flutters in the wind. When inside, flags just fold into themselves, showing only glimpses of their design. When they are unfurled, they show their true colors. I love the flag.
This is the Chesapeake Bay. I love it so. If I’m feeling blue, I’m five minutes away from its shores. There I can gaze at the water, and contemplate the awesome beauty of land meeting ocean. The life forms that thrive in this biosphere are as diverse as the very grains of sand along the shoreline.
This is just a little collage of some of the other things that get me out of the house and clicking my camera. This is just a smidgen of my complete body of work. For much of the early part of this Century, I was a street photographer. This is when I lived in Sunny Southern California. Now that I am in Maryland again, I am leaning more towards nature, flowers, art in general and portraiture in particular.
In closing, I just want to say “thank you” again to Cee. As it says in the song You’re the Tops!
